Rising straight out of the sea on the Naklua coast, this all-wood shrine has been under continuous construction since 1981 and is still being carved today. Every surface is covered in intricate figures drawn from Thai, Khmer, Chinese and Hindu mythology, built entirely without a single nail. It's one of the most photographed landmarks in Pattaya and a genuine feat of traditional craftsmanship.
